Go Team USA!!!

Chuck would like to send Team USA Hockey a big thumbs up for giving Canada the Olympic hockey equivalent of a roundhouse kick to the head.

Way to go boys, you are all now honorary Karate Komandos.

The Winter Olympics (of Chuck)

Chuck is a fan of competition. Chuck knows what it's like to win, that's all Chuck ever does. But to the others, it must be great just to compete agains Chuck.

The Winter Olympics are starting, and people from around the world are competing to get a chance to know what it feels like to be Chuck. That's why the gold metal is golden like my beard. Silver? Silver like my eyes. Bronze? Bronze like the spurs on my boots as they roundhouse kick you in the head.

And no, Chuck doesn't compete because Chuck would win every metal (which Chuck would). Chuck doesn't compete because most of the countries in the world have restraining orders against me. And as a Texas Ranger, Chuck respects the law.

Chuck's Review of Linchpin

Chuck got a new book in the mail: Seth Godin's Linchpin. Although Chuck doesn't read a lot (he's too busy saving the world), he found this book to be an enjoyable read.

Chuck has been reading Seth's blog for the past few years. It's
full of insight and wonderment, cut up into small segments of daily goodness. This book takes that concept and amplifies it 100 times.

Linchpin: Are You Indispensable? The book starts off calling Chuck a genius. Seth sure knows Chuck. He then proceeds to list the ways why Chuck's a genius, an artist. Someone who creates and gives to the world. This book covers how to become the linchpin, the valuable asset within Chuck's organization.

Some parts really stuck with Chuck, other parts reassured Chuck that he was doing the right thing, and yet other parts slightly confused Chuck (which is hard to do). But those are the start of new challenges in Chuck's life.

Linchpin is a great way to release the inner roundhouse kick inside. Chuck gives this book his highest rating: 5 thumbs up.
